A Pima Community College student was found shot and killed after a dispute near a dorm on the University of Arizona campus Sunday evening.

University of Arizona students are speaking out about Sunday night's deadly shooting outside of Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall. Officers discovered a man near the volleyball courts, right next to the Global Center.

Officers responded to a set of volleyball courts near the residence hall and found a "college age male" who had been shot. The victim was described by police as a student at Pima Community College. The victim's condition was not immediately released, as of Monday morning.

A junior college student was fatally shot on the University of Arizona campus after an altercation with a suspect who fled the scene.

Authorities say an “altercation” between several people led to a suspect shooting the victim on the volleyball courts, just east of the dorms.
