Two days from training camp, the Devils are adding more veterans to professional tryout contracts. New Jersey signed former Sharks forward Kevin Labanc and Ducks defenseman Andy Welinski to PTOs on Monday.

Brett Pesce was not available on the opening day of training camp for the Devils and is week to week as he continues to recover from surgery to repair a fractured fibula. The 29-year-old defenseman signed a six-year contract with the Devils on July 1 after nine seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes.
