Police are investigating a reported shooting Sunday afternoon. According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, officers were called to respond to the 2900 block of Louella Avenue around 4:30 p.m. for shots fired.

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- A person was shot in the 2900 block of Louella Avenue in the middle of the day. Montgomery County Regional Dispatch said crews were sent to the scene at approximately 4:30 p.m. There, dispatch said officers found one person with gunshot wounds.

Upon arrival, crews found one person with a gunshot wound according to the Springfield Police Officer-in-charge. The person was taken to an area hospital. Details on their condition were not immediately available.
