Prince William traveled to Aberdeen to meet with homeless charities and essential workers in support of an initiative to end homelessness

Prince William has visited Aberdeen to thank the city's homelessness organisations for their work supporting rough sleepers. The Prince of Wales - who is known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland - launched his Homewards project last year.

Prince William has issued a plea for help for the homeless as he guns for a major change. The prince is trying to “empower” those who are homeless to realise that “their life matters”, as part of his Homewards project - a five-year campaign aimed at ending homelessness in the UK.

On a visit to Scotland, the Prince of Wales supports a new Homewards and Blue Light Card partnership, extending discounts to 60,000 homelessness sector workers across the UK.

William praises ‘unconditional care’ of workers in homelessness sector - The Prince of Wales attended an event hosted by Homewards Aberdeen and visited Shelter Scotland in the city.

Prince William, 42, beamed as he thanked workers from across the homelessness sector. His busy day of engagements is part of his five year-long Homewards programme, as he looks closely into 'making the move to prevention' and addiction.
