The Seahawks made two expected moves Saturday, elevating running back George Holani and offensive tackle McClendon Curtis off the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. Each adds depth at a spot where Seattle has a starter who is doubtful to play — running back Kenneth Walker III and right tackle George Fant.
Seahawks' George Fant: Not playing Sunday
Fant sustained a knee injury in Week 1 against the Broncos. He was a DNP in all three practices this week, and his next chance at suiting up will be Week 3 against the Dolphins on Sept. 22. With Michael Jerrell (coach's decision) also inactive for Sunday's game, Stone Forsythe will likely step in as the starting right tackle.
