Numerous fires were burning throughout the Tri-State on Saturday with more than 40 reports of fires in New Jersey alone.

The FDNY said it was battling a brush fire at Prospect Park, with flames breaking out amid drought and windy conditions that have led to red flag warnings for nearly the entire tri-state area.

Parts of the East Coast are under drought conditions and red flag warnings, from Massachusetts to the northern edge of Virginia and West Virginia.
