A chaotic Watkins Glen race led to a significant reshuffling of the NBC Sports NASCAR Power Rankings. Tyler Reddick remains No. 1 but there are four new drivers in this week’s top 10, including Watkins Glen winner Chris Buescher.

Buescher may have been a darkhorse driver to beat for a Cup title had he actually raced into NASCAR’s postseason.

Pole sitter Ross Chastain dominated much of the race, but pit strategy reshuffled the leaders in the final stage. A series of cautions, including wrecks involving William Byron, Kyle Busch, and Tyler Reddick, set up a tense overtime finish. Buescher regained the lead after bumping Van Gisbergen in the carousel, holding off a final charge.
