Tensions continued to rise between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. On the September 16 episode of WWE RAW, The New Day (Woods and Kingston) challenged Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the WWE World Tag Team Championship.

The New Day had The Judgment Day defeated, but as Woods pinned McDonagh, the referee was dealing with the brawl on the outside between Kofi, Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and Carlito, and the LWO (Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, & Dragon Lee).

After being bludgeoned by Drew McIntyre two weeks ago, CM Punk is scheduled to return to WWE Monday Night Raw. This will be Punk's first appearance since WWE announced that he and McIntyre would do battle inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood.

WWE Raw was live from the Ball Arena in Denver Monday night and the raucous Colorado crowd was greeted by the new Raw Commentary Team of ESPN's Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett center ring. After a Bash in Berlin recap,

CM Punk kickstarted the proceedings by addressing fans and his rival Drew McIntyre. Talking about his upcoming match at Bad Blood, Punk revealed how he was going to war with his opponent. He admitted the dangers of a Hell in a Cell match but was willing to stake his career to take McIntyre down at the upcoming premium live event.
