Around 7:30 p.m., crews were dispatched after a report of a body floating in the water near 14th Street, said spokesperson Barbara Morrison.

One swimmer was found washed ashore in critical condition Saturday, and two others were missing after emergency personnel responded to a report of three swimmers struggling at the Oceanfront, according to police.

The group of three swimmers headed out into the water at night during dangerous conditions, Virginia officials said.
