Authorities in Montgomery County say they have arrested and charged a man in the murder of his girlfriend.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said multiple people were injured after a crash on Saturday afternoon. MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said that at about 2:30 p.m., units responded to Spring Meadows Drive and Germantown Road for a collision.

The man had an object and did not comply with commands after an alleged assault on the 3400 block of Janet Road, police said.
