Police in southern Pakistan shot dead a blasphemy suspect during an alleged shootout with armed men, officials said Thursday, the second such apparent extra-judicial killing in a week, drawing condemnation from human rights groups.

The victim had posted a video of himself from a hotel claiming that his account had been hacked and he could not even imagine sharing blasphemous content.

The PCB has moved the second Test between Pakistan and England out of Karachi. Multan will host the Test match.

Pakistan has struggled at home and is winless in Tests since beating South Africa in 2021. Since then, it has lost six Test matches, including a 2-0 defeat against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

England is set to play three test matches in Pakistan starting from 7 October.As per the Pakistan Cricket Board , the venue for England's second Test has been changed, and the match will now take place in Multan instead of Karachi.
