An emergency declaration for the Bridge fire burning in the mountain regions of Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties was ratified by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

As fire crews worked around the clock to gain control of the Bridge Fire burning the San Gabriel Mountains, at least one evacuation order in the Wrightwood area was scaled back to an evacuation warning Tuesday.

All proceeds from the Wrightwood charity event at noon this Saturday, Sept. 21 will go toward Bridge Fire victims in town.
