After the mysterious killing of a Vermont town official, his wife and his stepson, a person of interest was found with "some blood on them" on the roadside.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - A person who led police on a pursuit Friday was shot to death by police, according to the Christiansburg Police Department.

A man was found shot to death Wednesday afternoon on a southwest Birmingham street. Birmingham police officers were dispatched just after 5 p.m. to a report of a person shot in the 1700 block of Laurel Avenue S.W.

CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was found with gunshot wounds in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood early Wednesday morning. Just after 1 a.m., police found a man, who had been shot multiple times, on the the sidewalk, in the 6500 block of South Claremont Avenue. The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

One person was injured after a shooting near GE Patterson and Front Street in the South Main Arts District Friday night, MPD said.

Officers were called to the scene of Front Street and G.E. Patterson around 6 p.m. No victim was found at the scene. Police say the shooting victim arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. That person is in stable condition.
