Chinese smartphone maker Tecno on Tuesday launched Pop 9 smartphone in India. The new entry segment 5G smartphone comes in two storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB.

Tecno launched the Pop 9 5G in India, featuring a 48MP rear camera, NFC support, and powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Priced from Rs. 8,499, it's available for pre-booking with sales starting October 7.

The phone has Dolby Atmos, and Stereo Speakers. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, comes with 4GB RAM with additional 4GB of virtual RAM with memory fusion, and in 64GB and 128GB storage options. TECNO says that it will offer over 4 years of lag-free performance.

With its 5G connectivity, solid camera setup, and additional features like NFC and Dolby Atmos support, the Tecno Pop 9 5G is a great option for buyers looking for affordable smartphones without compromising on essential features.

The handset is the first 5G phone in the segment with NFC support and runs Android 14 with HiOS 14. It is offered in 4GB+64GB and the 4GB+128GB model.
