Ford Motor Co. is recalling more than 144,000 2022-2024 Ford Maverick pickups in the U.S., the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The recall is because the rearview camera image can freeze when the vehicle is in reverse, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company is recalling roughly 17,000 examples of its F-150 and Maverick pickup trucks in Canada in two separate safety campaigns for two different issues. For the F-150, model-year-2022 trucks could be affected if they received an over-the-air (OTA) update that may have accidentally stopped a prior software-related recall from happening in 2022;
