Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred early Saturday morning in Daytona Beach.FHP said the crash happened just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of West International Speedway Boulevard and Tomoka Farms Road.

Daytona Beach police officers have arrested an 18-year-old in the deadly stabbing of a woman. Officers responded to a stabbing incident at 300 Alva Circle shortly after midnight on Thursday, where they found the 30-year-old victim,

Caylen Deller, 30, of San Mateo, was arrested Friday afternoon in Daytona Beach by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. Deller was being held in the Volusia County jail on a charge of premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm in the killing of Chad Mullen. Mullen was 52, according to social media posts.

An 18-year-old suspect was arrested after a deadly apartment stabbing was reported in Daytona Beach on Thursday, according to police. The Daytona Beach Police Department responded to 300 Alva Cir. at approximately midnight about a stabbing.
