The opening Test between India and Bangladesh at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium took a dramatic turn on Day Two when a fierce throw from Bangladesh’s Hasan Mahmud struck Indian pacer Akash Deep in the back.

India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant apologised to Mohammed Siraj on Day 2 of the second Test against Bangladesh after his DRS error denied him a wicket.

India got off to a dream start with the ball on Friday after they were bundled out for 376 in the first Test. Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep gave nightmares to the visiting batters before Mohammed Siraj was unleashed.
