A nice surprise. We saw a lot of bison, prairie dogs, wild horses, and wild turkey. Beautiful vistas and easy to hike overlooks. Glad we went. Full review by kctinas

I don really know. When we were there two blizzards had gone through about two weeks prior and there was still lots of wildlife. We saw snow in spots. We were there early May and we didn’t see a lot of people there at all. We wore winter jackets because it can be quite windy. We truly enjoyed the beauty of this park and it’s inhabitants.
