We are riding our Bike up from Georgia. We expect to hit Sturgis on Oct 10. We are planning 4 days in SD for riding and sight seeing before moving on to Colorado. Can anyone tell me if Needles will be open during this time? The only info I can find is that it is open through mid October. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The signage says “road not maintained in winter”. It did not say it closes. It will be quite a bike ride...good luck.
